Without a doubt, the Swedish House Mafia trio are truly veterans when it comes to productions to throwing massive shows with diehard fans eagerly waiting to see Steve Angello, Axwell, and Sebastian Ingrosso take over the decks for a sensational night. Though it is disheartening that the end of Swedish House Mafia is near, it is the memories that will press on. “Until Now” only adds to those memories. The double-album format is well organized and few others transition like this. They have included many recent hits in the album release and one that stands out in particular is Usher’s “Euphoria” with SHM on the extended dub mix, but that isn’t all. There are some big names tacked onto this album in true Swedish House Mafia style and we’ve heard many of them before. This album will tide us over until their upcoming final shows hitting the states throughout 2013.
“Until Now” comes in standard and deluxe editions available now on iTunes with the deluxe version offering a wider 22-track variety of tracks for the compilation. The standard version and the deluxe version both include the latest collaboration between Steve Angello and Third Party titled “Lights” as well as the trio’s last single “Don’t You Worry Child” (remixes out now). SHM’s original mashups incorporated in the album definitely add a unique blend of the tracks we’ve came to love and hear, especially their singles and long time original mixes and collaborations that have stayed true to their name.
“Until Now” was produced and crafted to be listened with a joy and will definitely make you remember their huge shows around the globe if you have had the opportunity to attend or will be during their “One Last Tour” this upcoming year. You can’t go wrong with any of the two versions you chose, “Until Now” will be an album that the Swedish House Mafia lover will remember for a good time in the future.
